Evening Prayer

As the sunset deepens, my day of activity ends as well.  I am grateful for the blessings of this day - the food which has nourished me, the shelter which has protected me, and the love of family and friends which has enriched my life.  Lord, I ask You to watch over me and those dear to me this night and always.  May You enfold us in the peace of Your everlasting light.  Amen.
