For
as low as $300 or less, you can become a moringa distributor. This
business involves direct selling to customers. It is NOT a multi-level
networking. You grow your business through word of mouth, through people
who have tried the product and have experienced positive change.

Prices
below are used only for illustration purposes. As
a distributor, you purchase the products from us and re-sell them to
your prospective customers.
You
can start your business with an initial investment of less than $200.
This amount will buy you 10 bottles of Moringa capsules (60 capsules per
bottle at $14.00 per bottle). Recommended retail price is anywhere
between $20.00 to $25.00 per bottle. So, if you were to sell them at
$23.00 per bottle, that would leave you with $9.00 profit per bottle.
Please note that shipping cost has not been included in this example.
Normally, shipping cost for 10 bottles would be around $12.00.
To
further increase your profit per bottle, we recommend that you purchase
20 bottles. Your cost per bottle would only be $13.00. Shipping for 20
bottles would be around $15.00. So, adding up all your costs:

Now, your cost per unit
including shipping would be $13.75. As mentioned earlier, suggested
retail price is anywhere between $20.00 and $25.00. Let's assume you
want to price your products at $20.00 per bottle. That would still give
you a hefty profit of $6.25 per bottle.

Seller's Permit
How do I apply for a permit?
Applications can be accessed from their website www.boe.ca.gov. You can also arrange to have an application mailed or faxed to you by calling 800-400-7115. Or you can visit or call one of BOE field offices to obtain an application.
Is there a fee charged for a seller’s permit?
No. The permit is free. However, under certain circumstances, they may require a security deposit, usually from big companies whose estimated gross revenues are in large amount.
Is my seller’s permit the same as a business license?
No. You should contact your local business license department to obtain a separate business license. To locate the department, check the government pages of your telephone directory (for example, look for the terms “license” or “business license” under City Government Offices and County Government Offices).
Permit Type
There are two types of permit, a regular or temporary permit. You may apply for a temporary permit if you intend to make sales for a period of 90 days or less. Otherwise, you must apply for a regular permit.
Do You Need a Seller’s Permit?
When you sell or lease merchandise, vehicles, or other tangible personal property, even temporarily, you are generally required to register with the Board of Equalization
(BOE), and to pay sales tax on your taxable sales. When you register, BOE will issue you a seller’s permit. Sometimes people incorrectly refer to a seller’s permit as a resale number or resale permit. A seller’s permit is a state license that allows you to
sell items at wholesale or retail level. This will also allow you to issue resale certificates to your suppliers. Issuing a resale certificate allows you to buy items you will sell in your business operations without paying tax to your suppliers.
