Peso & Free Text Balance Inquiry via Smart Menu
With SMART Menu, checking your latest SMART Buddy PESO and FREE TEXT balance is a breeze. Simply click on Buddy Balance and you’ll receive a message stating your current pre-paid PESO and FREE TEXT balances.

Free Text Balance Inquiry via Text
You can also check your latest available PESO and FREE TEXT balance via text by typing ?1515 and sending to 214.

You will then receive a text message stating your latest available PESO and FREE TEXT balance, together with the date and time of your inquiry. 

Peso Balance Inquiry via the Pre-Paid Access Number 
You can call to inquire about your PESO balance by simply dialing 1515 + SEND. After a short beep, you will then receive a text message stating your latest available PESO and FREE TEXT balance together with the date and time of your inquiry.

To Cancel Subscription from any Value-Added Services
Please key in Check and send it to the access number that regularly sends the information to you (Example: Type Check and send to 288). You will receive a notification indicating all the services you are subscribed to. The text message also includes instructions on how to cancel the service you don't need anymore. 

Note: CHECK service is not available for 386 and 283 access codes because these are maintained by multiple Content Providers

How To Activate Prepaid Text and Voice Roaming
From the Philippines:

• Subscriber creates text message with keyword ‘Roam On’ 
• Subscriber sends keyword to 333.
• SMART activates prepaid roaming profile for text and voice. 
• SMART downloads ‘Roaming Menu’ to subscriber’s SIM 
• For successful activations, a flash message will appear: “Roaming menu has been successfully downloaded” (to ensure successful Roaming Menu download, activation must be initiated at least 1 hour before departure). 
• For subscribers who already have the Roaming Menu, a flash message will appear: “Script already exists” 
• Cost to download: P2.50. 
• Minimum load balance to roam on is P100

After activation of the prepaid roaming facility, subscriber shall only be able to place a local call via his Roaming Menu. He will be charged local call rates.

From outside the Philippines:
Existing prepaid roamers with text roaming facility can now enjoy voice roaming by following these simple steps:

• Roamer creates a text messages with keyword “VRoam”. 
• Roamer sends keyword to 333. 
• SMART activates prepaid roaming profile for voice. 
• SMART activates prepaid roaming profile for voice. 
• SMART downloads ‘Roaming Menu’ to subscriber’s SIM 
• For successful activation, a flash message will appear: “Roaming Menu has been successfully downloaded” 
• For Subscriber who already “Script already exists” 
• Cost to download: P22.50 (P20 for the successful International text sent +P2.50 for menu download). 
  

How to Make Calls while Roaming
01. Select ‘Call’ 
For SMART Buddy Super SIM 2 and 3 subscribers:

• Select ‘Search Pbook’ 
• If ‘Search Pbook’: Enter the first letter of the name you wish to call. 
• Select from the displayed ‘Contacts List’ 
• If ‘New Contact’: Enter desired phone number following this format:
  + Country code Mobile code Mobile number 
  

For Super SIM 1 subscribers:
Enter the number you wish to call following the format:
+ Country code Mobile code Mobile number
Ex1: To call a Smart Subscriber, enter:
+ 63 918 1234567
Ex2: To call a Philippine landline number, enter:
+ 63 2 12345 

02. Press Send. 

03.Wait for the confirmation message: “Pls. wait, we are connecting your call… Pls. answer when the phone rings.” 

04. Wait for your phone to ring (do not use your phone while waiting for the call back service). Answer the call. You will hear a ringing tone at the end of the line. Wait for the destination number to pick up. 

How to Send Text Messages while roaming
01. Simply type in your text message and send it to the destination number using the international format below:
+ Country code Mobile code Mobile number
Ex: To send a text message to a SMART subscriber, simply send to:
+ 63 918 1234567

02. Cost per text message sent P20. Each text message is limited to 160 characters. 

How to Check your Load Balance while Roaming
01. Via Text Message using a keyword. 

• Roamer sends a text message with keywords “?1515” 
• Roamer sends keyword to 214. 

02. Via SMART Menu 

• Roamer selects Smart menu. 
• Roamer selects Buddy Balance.

How to share a load
1. Key-in the mobile number space and the amount

2. Send to 808
